Those are the only words that came out of my mouth when I first heard the teachings of Tom Challan, one of the top mlm earners in the entire industry. Why does Tom deserve such reverence? I wanted to spark up some discussion here…(feel free to leave your thoughts and comments below). Here are a few things that I learned from Tom Challan’s 20 minutes interview:
Top MLM Earners Tip #1: Learn how to enroll without pitching or selling. How much do you hate it when you get a call from one of those “MLM Solicitor” guys over the phone, leaving you a voicemail and their website? I absolutely hate it! Lol. On top of that, it doesn’t even work. The best network marketers are able to expose their business to people in a way that is highly professional just like recruiters would do on Wall Street or any other fortune 500 company. After all, network marketing is a 600 billion dollar global business, so why treat it any less than it is?
Top MLM Earners Tip #2: You can’t do everything yourself. The best leaders and network marketers are the ones that utilize their strengths and outsource the work that is not necessary. If you think you are responsible for training, presenting, 3 way calls, setting up systems, marketing and everything, you will quickly burn out and even be less productive than you would be if you focused your talent on one thing.
Top MLM Earners Tip #3: Be flexible. One of the things that really stood out to me when listening to Tom Challan is the fact that he had earned millions of dollars in his past companies, yet he did not have the time freedom and knew that there was another way. Sacrificing everything and putting everything else aside, Tom began to try his new philosophy of just enrolling and outsourcing the training and his success was immense.
Top MLM Earners Tip #4: DECIDE how many people you are going to sponsor each day. Decide? Yes, what led Tom to such success was that he was committed to recruiting 1 person everyday no matter what. If you are new to the industry, 1 person a day is ALOT! Either way, set your goals, and do what it takes to hit the numbers to make it happen (4 per week is a good goal for full-timers and 1-2 a week is a great goal for part-timers).
Top MLM Earners Tip #5: Learn how to generate YOUR OWN leads. Look, I know that Tom Challan recruited 500 people calling cold leads but what he didn’t mention was that he started using technology to generate his own leads online and he recruited over 300 people his next year putting only 10 hours of work in each week. Let’s face it, what is easier…cold calling people all day? Or, having leads actually come to you and want to be a part of what your doing?
