Have you ever felt like sometimes you are building your network marketing business around hope? “Hoping” to recruit someone, hoping that a superstar falls in your lap, hoping that just maybe you’ll get lucky and have a huge breakthrough in your business one of these days?
Every networker falls into the “hoping” trap at one point or another when building their network marketing business but in this post, I will share with you some tips to be more confident in your business and build it with certainty.
Building your network marketing business around hope can be very stressful because you are simply not in control. Bringing on 10 people, plugging them in, sitting back and hoping your gonna get rich is not going to cut it.
Building your network marketing business around certainty will help you build a larger business, with less stress, more free time and a better life-style along the way.
Here are 5 tips that you can implement in your network marketing business today:
1.) Focus on personal production – (This is contrary to the network marketers who think that every single person they bring on is going to make them a lot of money).
Bringing on people and getting all emotional about whether they are going to work or not is NOT going to cut it. You have probably been there and done that.
I personally have been there and done that. It is better to “never assume anything”. Just like a sales team, network marketing is similar. In a 100 man sales team, 4-5 people will bring in 90% of the entire office’s production.
Does the manager get all worried and anxious about the other 95 people who are doing practically nothing? Of course not, the sales leader works with the 5 who are worth his time and energy and simply recruits another 100 to find the next 5 that are going to earn him money.
Calculate For Success In Your Network Marketing Business:
Calculate the exact amount of people you would need to recruit each week and each day to earn a comfortable income EVEN if no one in your group did anything.
This little change in perspective will help you produce more, market more and enroll many more people into your network marketing business.
Be sure to always plug your people into your companies system, get them into a fast start training and make a game plan with them but never count all of your people to earn your money for you. You will work as a team with your group but some will bring in 10x’s more production than others.
2.) Be very comfortable with what to do once you bring on a new representative. Does you company have a fast start system? A series of training videos or tools to get your new rep oriented and plugged in. To make your time efficient, you cannot train all of your people but you need to plug them into a system to get them up and running.
This will allow you to focus 100% on recruiting, ‘plugging in’, getting them started and then enrolling more people.

3.) Have a handful of strategies to constantly bring in new reps and new leads. When I started off in network marketing, it was very discouraging at first because after I recruited my first 15 warm market reps (friends and family) I had no clue what to do!
…NO clue what to do. Some of you may feel this way right now. After you recruit the people you know, you may even feel like quitting!
My friends don’t quit! I have hope for you. I too said “screw it” after struggling to build my network marketing business in the ‘warm market’ conventional way and decided to learn some skills on the internet.
…After 8 months of application and consistent work, I was able to recruit 120 reps – build my team to 1,100 – and create 6-8 auto-pilot online income streams on the side.

4.) Set clear income goals and run the numbers
A lot of you may be taking my 100 day challenge in the bootcamp. Where do you want to be at the end of those 100 days? It usually takes about 25-50 leads to get a sign up for something, whether it’s your network marketing business, an affiliate product or a sale.
Run the numbers…how many visitors would it take to get 25 leads a day? Well probably about 900-1000 visitors. So if you write one new piece of content for 100 days at the end of the challenge, you will probably have about 5 people view each piece of content each day which would be 100x 5= 500 visitors each day!
Let me ask you…how many people would you be able to sign up in your network marketing business if you had 500 visitors each day to your site? I will show you how to get there in under 2 ½ hours of work per day.
5.) Work where you are deserved. Always “act as if”. Don’t buy expensive rings, car and clothes pretending your rich but “act as if”. How would you act if you were enrolling 12 reps a week?
My guess is you wouldn’t have time to baby sit and handhold would you? Even when you are just starting, ACT AS IF. Act as if you are brining in 12 reps a week and position yourself with the warriors mindset day 1.
Work with the people who are PRODUCING and worth your time. People can waste your time all day on the phone, “planning that” “game planning that” “getting excited about that” but production never lies. Look in your back-office report and work with the people who are WORKING and truly deserve your one-on-one attention.
