Tips To Building Online Traffic To Your Offer

The most important thing you need to build online traffic and get more sales in whatever business you are doing, is traffic sources.

Once you understand the concept of “traffic sources”, you will begin to see that the traffic game is not so difficult after all.

So before I just into any specifics about building online traffic, you must first know this:

Online Traffic Comes From Websites That Already Have Traffic.

For example,







In a sense, we are always “stealing traffic”. There is no such thing as really “creating traffic out of thin air”. Online traffic comes from a variety of sources, free and paid that already have the type of consumer that you are looking for.

For example, if you are using Search Engine Optimization to build your online traffic, you need to ask yourself, “what are my consumers searching for on Google?”

“What are my target buyers actually looking for?”

If You Are Able To Understand How Your Online Traffic “Behaves”, You Will Be Able To Increase Sales Dramatically.

For example,

I do a lot of Facebook advertising.

Now on Facebook, this kind of traffic “behaves”, a lot differently than Google online traffic.

Facebook consumers are not really in the “consumption mode”. They are browsing around, checking out each others pictures and sharing laughs, so when you are marketing on a traffic source such as Facebook, it is important to understand the buyer.

Understand the market.

What type of ad is a Facebook buyer most likely to click?

They are probably most likely to click on an ad that has more of a “pop media” kind of look/feel.

Something, awkward, some alarming, something that relates to them.

A lot of times I start my facebook ads with “Don’t Take My Word For It”.

It kind of just catches them off guard and focuses their attention on the add.

Another thing you can do with this type of traffic is include pictures and things that relate very closely to them.

For example, if you are targeting internet marketing fan, you could use a title like , “The internet swallowed me”

Or just something rediculous that catches their attention.

YouTube – Free

Google – Free

Google Ads (on the right and top) – Paid

Facebook – Paid

Yahoo PPC – Paid

Bing PPC – Paid

Banner Ads – Paid

Email List Swaps – Paid

Newsletter Solo Ads – Paid

Emailing Marketing – Paid

Buying and Contacting Lists – Paid.

There are many online traffic sources but whenever you choose an online traffic source, ask yourself the question, “How does this traffic source behave?”

Landing Page Optimization And Increasing Front-End Conversions

I wanted to get a blog post out today that talks about landing page optimization and increasing conversions on the front-end.

There are many ways to increase conversions (and sales) but two of the most popular and most effective ways are by increasing your landing page optimization and driving more traffic.

I will start the post with the latter, and then end the post with some specific landing page optimization tips. I will also share some systems and tools I am using to build my front-end customer base and get lead captures (that convert 35%+).

Landing Page Optimization CAN Be Solved By Just Driving More Traffic

I know this is stating the obvious, but “landing page optimization” can become a non-issue if you are able to drive more traffic to the capture page. If you are using free traffic such as blogging, SEO, YouTube, Yahoo, Google etc and you feel like your lead capture page and sales system is not getting you the amount of sales/leads as you like it is best to implement BOTH of these options:

#1 – Immediately work to start driving more traffic to the lead capture source


#2 – Begin working on landing page optimization

(If it is easier, I can refer you to some of the generic lead captures that I use that have been pretty successful).

Landing Page Optimization Needs To Be A Combination Of Both The Above

Many times people will work so hard on getting the capture page good and “perfecting” their landing page optimization but then only increase their conversion and lead-flow by 10% or so.

If you are driving thousands of visitors to your website, this change can be a big deal but if you are just getting started and do not have that type of initial traffic yet, I highly recommend focusing 90% on the traffic increase and 10% on the funnel/ Landing Page Optimization.

These principles can apply to any business.

Let’s say you are in a network marketing business and you want to get more prospects to your sales presentation…

What I mean by the statement above is, instead of spending so much time tweaking, testing and doing little things to increase the “landing page optimization” or the amount of people that end up opting in to view your offer, you are going to get better and faster results by focusing on just getting more people to the offer.

Here Are Some Tips To Increase Front-End Conversions And Landing Page Optimization

#1 – If you are using a lead capture page, experiment asking for both their name and email and ONLY email.

I found that I personally get much more leads when I only ask for the email address.

Many times, when working on your landing page optimization, it is not necessary for you to ask for the name and it is a lot faster and easier for the prospect to just “plop” in their email.

#2 – Split Test the headline

The headline is the most important part of your landing page optimization and front-end offer. I suggest using the same body and email box on your capture forms but test different headlines.

Use headlines that “break state”.

What I mean by “break state”, is that they literally “break the state” of your target audience.

Headlines like:

WARNING: These 3 tips might make you broke!

How a 27 year old drop-out earned his first $2,467 in one day.

When you are writing headlines make sure that they are very SPECIFIC.

For all of you bloggers out there, internet marketers, network marketers, affiliate marketers, these techniques can apply to a lot more than just landing page optimization and capture leads.

Be specific in age, in amounts, in descriptions.

Your sales copy and writing also wants to elicit emotions and even have them look twice.
