Ampegy Review –
Network marketers… I wanted to write this Ampegy Review because believe it or not, about 2 weeks ago, I was ABOUT tojoin Ampegy (literally credit card in hand, ready to join). I want to say this upfront, this review is NOT written to bash or condemn any company or Ampegy itself, in-fact, Ampegy in an extremely ligament company and one of the best I have seen in a while.
What I want to provide you with here however, is my diligent (and very extensive) research on the company, other companies in the deregulated energy business, a few examinations on the compensation plan and a first hand, honest evaluation of the opportunity as a whole.
I will close this Ampegy Review with a final verdict; “Is Ampegy the “right” company to be with in the deregulation of electricity”? “Does Ampegy have the most lucritive compensation plan”? And finally…”Will Ampegy provide you and your family the most money and residual income possible, for the work that you do”?
Ampegy Review, The Pros:
Let’s start off by looking at the pros…
Energy deregulation is the right industry! Think about it…it is the most secure, most stable and reliable income and residual that you can build in network marketing because the residuals you build, are not based off of distributors “staying in” and paying their monthly auto-ships. This is extremely important to realize.
Therefore, the retention rate is very high for your customers and residuals, especially if these customers are built in your relationship (warm) market…
“When I began to look at the energy business, I knew for a fact that it was the right industry, the right product and the right service to market but I wanted to make sure that I was with the right company. I literally spent months researching all of the major players and kept comparing and contrasting different companies, marketing plans and opportunities until I finally found the one that was absolutely perfect and made the most sense.”
As I dwindled my search down and compared different plans, I was left with an option between Ampegy and one other company. Here are the top 4 things that grabbed my attention about the Ampegy opportunity and why I needed to make a decision between the two companies…
1.) Ampegy just launched back in February 2011 and is still in pre-launch stage. This fact right here was one of the main reasons why I was actually even considering the company (I am an experienced networker with very large downlines) . We all know the truth…”The people who are there in the beginning usually make the most money!”
When I was contacted about Ampegy in April, 2011, there was a leadership promotion going on…If you recruited 8 distributors by June 20th, 2011, you were actually grandfathered into the 2nd highest promotion level in the company. Pretty enticing right! Here’s the bad news though…for all of you reading this Ampegy Review after June 20th, 2011…have fun getting the promotion the hard way!
While you’re slaving away and working hard the honest way, the handful of founding Area Reps that got grandfathered in, will be getting extremely, extremely rich but the sad thing is…it will be very hard for 99% of the rest of the people to earn anywhere near the same amount of money, coming in after June 20th..
2.) Ok, here is the second thing that caught my eye about Ampegy, out of all the $399 , paid opportunities, Ampegy has the best fast-start bonuses hands down. Whenever someone joins your group for $400 dollars and gets their first 3 customers in 30 days, you can earn anywhere from $110 to even $280 just for helping them hitting their fast start goal (this is obviously paid out only once and is upfront money) .
3.) Ampegy is in a lot of markets. In-Fact, Ampegy’s slogan is “More Markets, More Opportunity”. Ampegy’s founders and their supplier, Spark Energy are also very reputable.
4.) Ampegy has a better compensation plan than Viridian, Ignite, Ambit and all of the other companies playing the “$400 game” to get in.
The Hidden Truth About Residual Income…The Ampegy Cons:
Ok, now, what a lot of you have been waiting for…”Why would I be ready to join, credit card in hand and suddenly change my mind”?
On the surface, Ampegy LOOKS like a very good plan, stuffed with very exciting fast start bonuses that conquer any $400 opportunity, unlimited depth over-rides, and “pre-launch” promotion bonuses but what I realized was one very, VERY important thing.
ASK YOURSELF THIS QUESTION HONESTLY:
AM I TRULY LOOKING TO WALK AWAY WITH AS MUCH RESIDUAL INCOME AS POSSIBLE FROM A MARKETING PLAN?
If you answered YES to this question, I need you to pay close attention to what I am about to say in the next few paragraphs here:
Let’s put all of the hype and fast-start bonuses aside and take a look at the true residual that is being built in the Ampegy plan:
What do we earn residuals on in the energy business?
NOT… and let me repeat that again, NOT DISTRIBUTORS. (This is very important to understand). In 99% of all network marketing companies you get paid to just recruit the distributor and then your residual is tied to his/her monthly order, which is very bad for retaining your residuals because if a distributor gets tired of paying their auto-ship…guess who losses their pay…YOU!
In the energy business, we GET PAID RESIDUALLY ON THE CUSTOMERS that are brought onto the service. These customers are saving money, possibility making money and they have no reason to drop because they are on the service for free while paying less for a bill they pay anyway, perfect model.
IF WE GET PAID RESIDUALS ON CUSTOMERS IN THE ENERGY BUSINESS ,
CAN WE BE IN AGREEMENT THAT THE GROUP WITH THE MOST CUSTOMERS WINS?
If we look at the Ampegy plan carefully, you will come to realize that you will not actually be able to build the largest residual income possible with their marketing plan:
Think about it…If you approach 15 people about the opportunity, how many of them will be ready to get started and plunk down the $400 dollars?
Let’s be generous and say that 5 out of 15 commit to joining at the $400 level (this is obviously higher than the companies averages for recruiting).
Now of course, you would have just earned your money back with a $500 fast-start bonus ($100 profit in your wallet) but let’s be honest and take a close look at the residuals.
Now, if all of those 5 people go out and hit their fast-start bonuses and get their 3 customers:
5 x 3 = 15 customers …folks, after all of that work and pay to join your team and hit their customer requirement, you are only left with a residual income on 15 customers! 15 customers would barely even pay you $7 of monthly residual in the Ampegy model.
I don’t know about you, but that seems like a lot of loopholes to go through just to get paid on 15 customers residually!
So What Is The Verdict?
After doing my extreme due diligence between Ampegy and North American Power (the second company that I referred to in the beginning of this post), it was a complete no brainer that North American Power was just a better business model for earning a true (and very significant) residual income and here is why:
North American Power has a “No investment, No risk, No cost of entry model”. NO COST! Imagine how many people you could recruit into your opportunity if the compensation was the same, in-fact better than a company that was charging $299, $399, $499 but you did not have to ask for a dime…You could get 10, 50, 70…HUNDREDS and hundreds of people into your business.
But most importantly, CUSTOMERS and RESIDUAL Income…
Let’s just do the math, if you approached 15 people and offered them a ligament opportunity that had no investment and no risk attached how many could you get…
Now, how many could those 15 get?? Let’s say 10…
15×10 = That’s 150 CUSTOMERS that you would be getting paid residual on with the very same amount of work, plus no fear of presenting the opportunity, no risk and most importantly no damage to your reputation.
